About Rachel

Rachel was born and raised in Oshkosh, Wisconsin then studied at UW-Eau Claire, University of Valladolid, Spain, and Texas State University where she earned a BA, an MA, and established fluency in Spanish. Austin, Texas was home to Rachel and her three kids for over fifteen years before they moved to Fort Collins, Colorado in 2017. Rachel and her family love living in Colorado and never tire of those beautiful mountain vistas! Rachel and her kids enjoy many life adventures together and are invested in their community through participation in kids’ sports activities at their local schools and recreation organizations and volunteer work at Hearts and Horses.

After a successful fifteen year tenure in teaching and educational leadership, Rachel made a pivotal move in 2019, embarking on a new entrepreneurial career in real estate. The skills and experience she brings from her educational background are well-aligned to enhance the benefit she provides to clients in each transaction. Her range of life experiences as a woman, small business owner, single mom, and divorcee adds depth and richness to her perspective and to the heart of the work she does. 

Having navigated the landscape of divorce as a homeowner with an asset to divide, Rachel sought out and acquired the additional professional competency and expert training necessary to most effectively help divorcing homeowners and their family law professionals handle the complexities of divorce and real estate. Her divorce journey narrowly missed some devastating obstacles related to homeownership and she’s determined to do what she can so others can benefit from her lived experiences.
